- New organisational structure fosters even closer customer relationships and a forward-looking approach
(Frankfurt am Main, 1. October 2026) In order to meet the demands of a dynamic logistics market even more effectively and to further intensify and expand its collaboration with customers and partners, Kombiverkehr KG has further developed its sales and organisational structure. By establishing the ‘Corporate Strategy & Network Development’ function and transforming sales management into the ‘Business Development & Customer Success’ department, the company is sending a clear signal of its commitment to customer focus, innovation and sustainable growth.
New corporate function for strategy and network development
The new “Corporate Strategy & Network Development” corporate function was established on 15 September 2026. In this role, Ulrich Bedacht, as the new head of the function, is responsible for strategic corporate and transformation projects, analyses market and competitive potential, and continues to expand networks within the transport and logistics sector that are significant for Kombiverkehr. In his previous role as Head of Northern Europe & German Baltic Sea Ports, he played a key role in the successful development of this sales division for many years.
Focus on growth and customer success
The ‘Business Development & Customer Success’ department will further strengthen the focus on customer needs, services and growth opportunities in combined transport for the company’s customers. Christian Lipinski, who previously successfully led the Sales Management department and the Eastern Europe Sales Division, will take over as head of the department. The aim is to advise and support customers even more effectively throughout their entire partnership with Kombiverkehr, to identify potential at an early stage, and to jointly develop sustainable transport solutions for new and existing customers in the freight forwarding and logistics sectors. In addition, Lipinski will also handle consultancy and brokerage enquiries between the retail and manufacturing sectors and freight forwarding companies affiliated with Kombiverkehr KG. “Both units are gradually integrating the new structure into our day-to-day work with our customers, combining strong sales-driven acquisition with strategic development throughout the entire customer journey. The close integration of strategic corporate development and business development will help us to sustainably expand our performance and competitive strength,” says Managing Director Dirk Steffes.
Consolidation of sales activities in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe
Another important step in the reorganisation was the merger of the former Sales Departments for South-Eastern Europe and Eastern Europe into a new joint Sales Department for Eastern and South-Eastern Europe with effect from 1 September 2026. With this consolidation, Kombiverkehr is laying the foundations for even closer cooperation within the regions, greater integration of market activities, and more efficient and standardised processes. For customers, this means even better regional market coverage and stronger coordination of sales activities. Eugen Sucea has taken over as head of this department. Sucea spent several years at LKW Walter in the multimodal transport division and subsequently worked in sales at Helrom, where he focused primarily on expanding projects in Eastern Europe. Susana Jozinovic will be stepping down from her role as Head of the South-Eastern Europe Sales Department by mutual agreement in order to pursue new career opportunities elsewhere. Kombiverkehr KG would like to thank Susana Jozinovic for her energy and dedication and wishes her all the best for the future.
New Head of Sales for Northern Europe & German Baltic Sea Ports
With effect from 15 September 2026, Stefan Harlander will take over as Head of the Sales Department for Northern Europe & German Baltic Sea Ports. For four years, he looked after customers in this region as a product manager. Now, as head of the department, he will draw on his professional expertise and extensive industry knowledge to continue the successful collaboration with customers and partners on domestic German routes to and from German Baltic Sea ports, as well as to Scandinavia and the Baltic States.
